Carol Chavez graduated as a Dental Hygienist in 2008. For years, she treated people dealing with jaw pain, sleep apnea, orthodontic relapse, and various other oral dysfunctions, striving to alleviate their symptoms and discomfort. However, it wasn’t until she witnessed firsthand the daily challenges her daughter faced due to several oral dysfunctions that she truly grasped the profound impact of orofacial dysfunction on quality of life.
Since that realization, Carol has pursued extensive training in Myofunctional Therapy and breathwork through numerous courses. She is passionate about sharing the benefits of Myofunctional Therapy and promoting proper oral function to others.
Carol is also passionate about changing the landscape of healthcare. She takes a more concierge-style approach with her clients—offering guidance not just during sessions, but throughout the entire treatment journey. As your Dental Doula, she will even attend appointments with you, such as orthodontic consultations or frenectomy procedures, to ensure seamless, coordinated care between all your providers.
Carol offers appointments via telehealth and in-person in the greater San Antonio area.
In her free time, you can find Carol cheering on her daughters at sporting events, tending to her garden, or hiking with her husband.
